Research Project Coordinator
Population Science and Policy

    About me

    Primary Responsibilities:

My primary responsibility for the Department of Population Science and Policy is to assist in research and community engagement aimed at improving health outcomes in central and southern Illinois.

    About:

I received my bachelor’s degree in Health Studies from Eastern Illinois University (2016) and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois in Springfield (2019). While attending UIS, I worked at the Illinois Department of Public Health in the Environmental Health Division through the Graduate Public Service Intern program. I was introduced to the Department of Population Science and Policy through an AmeriCorps internship and greatly admired the work being done at PSP to improve the health and well-being of communities in central and southern Illinois. In my current role as a Research Project Coordinator, I assist faculty and coordinate projects in the Human and Community Development Division.
