    About me

    Daniel Shekleton, MD, went to the United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., for his undergraduate degree and then spent five years as an infantry officer prior to medical school. He then went to Southern Illinois University School of Medicine here in Springfield, Ill., for medical school and his radiology residency training. Dr. Shekleton went on to complete fellowship training in Peoria, Ill., at Susan G. Komen Breast Center with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. He has been practicing medicine since his fellowship graduation in 2007.

    Dr. Shekleton is a member of the American College of Radiology and Society of Breast Imaging.

    “Shek,” as his friends and family call him, spends his free time with his wife, Tiffani, and their two grown children. Shek is passionate about fitness and enjoys being active.
