Why they chose SIU
I want to apply for a sports medicine fellowship and this program has a good track record of residents getting good exposure and experience to be competitive candidates. It is also nice that SIU has in-house fellowships in other cities, like Carbondale and Quincy. Coming from a traffic-ridden city like Chicago, it’s nice to not have to drive more than 20 minutes to get anywhere in Decatur.
