The Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (SIUSOM), Alliance for Women in Medicine in Science (AWIMS) is seeking nominations for the Inaugural Colors of Health Community Engagement Award.
The AWIMS Community Engagement Award will be awarded to an individual who exemplifies AWIMS' community engagement mission.
AWIMS' community service mission is to provide a supportive forum to promote honest discussion and positive change for gender equity, career advancement, work-life balance and community engagement and to champion the development and promotion of women.
The finalist will be announced during the Colors of Health event on Sept. 6, 2024. Submissions are due Aug. 23, 2024.
