About me
Liz Steere is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Center for Healthy Aging and Wellness. She earned her master's degree in Human Development Counseling at the University of Illinois at Springfield and is a National Certified Counselor. Liz approaches counseling from a trauma-informed, relational-cultural perspective, paying special attention to the impacts of past trauma, relationships, and marginalization. She seeks to collaborate with patients to set goals, get curious about underlying issues, and find effective treatments to restore wellness. Outside work, she enjoys sewing, gardening, and nature walking with her husband and son.
