SIU Carbondale Family Medicine was established in 1978 at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. We are pleased you have chosen SIU Carbondale Family Medicine as your medical home.

SIU Medicine is a group of family physicians that are trained to care for the entire family. We are concerned with each family member's total well-being. We believe that taking care of the entire family helps us better to understand each member.

In addition, we are an accredited Family Medicine Residency which means we train physicians to be Family Medicine specialists with an emphasis on health care needs regardless of your age or gender. Your health care is primary to us.

Emphasis is placed on patient education and prevention of illness.
