Keith Norton, MD

Dr. Norton grew up in rural Oklahoma and played football, basketball, baseball and ran track. He met his wife, a Millikin University graduate while playing music in Nashville, TN. Dr. Norton and his wife moved to Oklahoma where he worked for 9 years as a partner in oil and gas before pursuing medical school at Ross University.

Dr. Norton chose SIU Family Medicine Residency Program Decatur because his elective here was the best experience during his medical training. The residents, staff and attendings are genuinely passionate about teaching and serving the diverse community.

He and his wife have three children in the Forsyth School District and are excited about planting roots here.
