About me
I have been a medical educator since 1998 when I joined the Department of Surgery under the leadership of Dr. Roland Folse. I am the nurse educator responsible for the design, assessment, and daily implementation of the curriculum for the surgery clerkship. I have extensive research experience with more than 35 publications in peer reviewed medical journals. I was a co-developer of the original Resident Prep Course designed to prepare 4th year medical students for entering surgical residencies. She is also the founder and director of the national Mock Page program. She is a reviewer for several surgery journals. Her areas of interest and expertise are in curriculum development, curriculum evaluation, and resident preparedness.
