    About me

    Peter I. Bergé, JD, MPA, PA-C Emeritus is an attorney admitted to the New Jersey bar since 2004 and practices as Of Counsel to a boutique litigation law firm. His practice is concentrated in medical negligence claims and other matters involving complex medical-legal issues. 

    He has been a licensed PA for over 40 years and, while retired from PA practice, regularly serves on medical missions to Latin America. He is a veteran medical and medicolegal educator, having been a full-time member of the PA program faculty in the 1990s and subsequently teaching PA students, PAs, attorneys, legal nurse consultants and other professionals in a variety of academic and professional settings on a regular basis. He is published in professional journals and textbooks, including three medicolegal texts.

    Bergé earned a Bachelor of Science from the Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital PA program in 1982, a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College, CUNY, in 1995 and a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall Law in 2004.
