2021 Graduate Student Research Symposium

Three graduate students from the Department of Pharmacology won awards at the 31st Annual Graduate Student Research Symposium held on April 23, 2021. Jesse Britz from Dr. Tischkau’s lab won 1st place for his oral presentation. Caleigh Findley from Dr. Erin Hascup’s lab and Madan Ghimire from Dr. Caspary’s lab won 3rd place for their oral presentations. The title of the presentations were:

Caleigh Findley - Abnormal Glutamatergic Neurotransmission and Cognitive Impairment in Male AppNL-F/NL-F Mice

Madan Ghimire - Disrupted Nicotinic Cholinergic Signaling in Rat Model of Chronic Tinnitus
