Primary Responsibilities

My primary responsibility for the Department of Population Science and Policy is to assist in research and community engagement aimed at improving health outcomes in central and southern Illinois.

About

I received my bachelor’s degree in Health Studies from Eastern Illinois University (2016) and a Master’s in Public Health degree from the University of Illinois in Springfield (2019). While attending UIS, I worked at the Illinois Department of Public Health in the Environmental Health Division through the Graduate Public Service Intern program. I was introduced to the Department of Population Science and Policy through an AmeriCorps internship and greatly admired the work being done at PSP to improve the health and well-being of communities in central and southern Illinois. In my current role as a Research Project Coordinator, I assist faculty  and coordinate projects in the Human and Community Development Division.
