I am very thankful to have matched at SIU especially because of the people here! The residents and faculty have been nothing but kind and welcoming. I have loved the hands-on experience that we get here starting on day 1. The skills labs and simulations that are integrated into our curriculum really help strengthen our surgical skills and confidence. Overall, I felt like it was a great well-rounded program and I am very excited to be a part of the team!
