    About me

Ashley Norton-Gregory, MD, provides care with Springfield Clinic's Radiology Department.

"I had gained an interest in medicine during my undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois," says Dr. Norton-Gregory. "After volunteering at various hospitals and working in an ultrasound research laboratory, I decided to become a physician in order to help patients while combining my love for science."

Dr. Norton-Gregory and her husband grew up in southern and central Illinois, so she is honored to return closer to home and take care of patients in the area.

She was drawn to radiology as a specialty during her time in medical school because of a radiologist's ability to help nearly every patient.

Dr. Norton-Gregory received her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wis., and her fellowship in abdominal imaging at Duke University in Durham, N.C.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter (with another child on the way) and two Samoyeds. She also enjoys making cards and traveling to national parks and hiking.
