Danielle Hawthorne, MD

Having been a medical student at SIU School of Medicine, I was able to experience firsthand how welcoming and supportive the faculty and the residents are in every clinical scenario I encountered. SIU is a very supportive community that has shaped my growth as a learner throughout medical school. I was able to see how many learning opportunities are available at SIU for every possible career path. I’ve also fallen in love with the historical town of Springfield and have enjoyed calling this city my home.
