    About me

    Tomonao Hashimoto, MD is an Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Dr. Hashimoto performs his clinical and teaching duties at both SIU Center for Family Medicine-Springfield and SIU Center for Healthy Aging and Wellness. 

    Dr. Hashimoto specializes in Geriatric Medicine. He is hoping to improve the health, independence and quality of life of older adults in the community.

    While away from his clinical work, he enjoys watching ball games, traveling, and hiking in the U.S. National Parks.
