The SIU Pharmacy was established to provide patients with specialty oncology medications that are not commonly available at general retail pharmacies. In addition to filling prescriptions and counseling patients on their medications, the providers work on Prior Authorizations, often an extra step required for insurance to cover the specialized drugs’ costs.
