Pulmonary and Critical Care

Welcome

Welcome to the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care at SIU Medicine. Our multidisciplinary team diagnoses and treats patients who have lung disorders, sleep disorders and allergies. Some specific conditions we diagnose and treat include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and obstructive sleep apnea. We offer a range of advanced treatments and techniques to meet our patients’ needs within a range of health care settings, including outpatient and inpatient critical care environments. While our pulmonologists educate the next generation of specialists, our researchers are advancing the field of pulmonary care and critical care medicine.
