Clinical and Research Interests
The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Medicine at SIU has clinical interests in autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders, learning disorders, mood/anxiety disorders, and many other behavior problems. The division also boasts extensive research in neurodevelopmental outcomes for infants requiring neonatal intensive care, cross-discipline communication and collaboration, and evaluation of resident education.
Education
Residents are involved in direct clinical care through SIU clinics and our satellelite clinics at Decatur Memorial Hospital and Easter Seals. They are also trained in developmental screening through our Developmental Continuity Clinic.
