Funding Opportunity Support 

The Office of the Associate Dean for Research provides expertise and assistance in finding extramural funding opportunities to support the missions of SIU School of Medicine.  

Key Resources:

• Pivot-RP is a global funding opportunity database and comprehensive resource for global funding information coupled with editorially curated scholarly profiles and funding insights. All SOM faculty, students, and staff are able to access the Pivot-RP database. Click here to view Pivot-RP access information, resources and FAQs on the Hive, or search “Pivot-RP” on the Hive.
• Foundation Directory Online (FDO) is a database containing information on private, corporate, and government grantmakers. The database provides information on each foundation’s application process, recently awarded grants, the number and dollar amount of grants made each year, geographic focus, specified areas of interest, contact information, and more.
