Hoffman selected for ELAM Fellowship

Published Date:

Family medicine physician Rebecca Hoffman, MD, has been accepted as a member of the 2023-24 class of Fellows in the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® (ELAM) Program. Her selection places her among the top tier of women leaders in academic medicine, dentistry, public health and pharmacy.

Dr. Hoffman is an associate professor of family and community medicine in Alton. The ELAM program has been specially developed for senior women faculty at the associate or full professor level who demonstrate potential for assuming executive leadership positions at academic health centers. While attaining higher levels within academic health care executive ranks is the program’s primary focus, ELAM encourages its graduates to pursue the full diversity of roles that offer opportunities for leadership within their organizations.
