POLICY THROUGH PRACTICE The 2023 Illinois Rural Health Summit: Exploring Gender Health Equity through Policy will discuss challenges and opportunities, share best practices, and identify policy changes that could lead to more equitable care for the most vulnerable among us. SIU Medicine Department of Population Science and Policy, in partnership with SIU School of Law, will host a virtual and in-person event in October. The hybrid format of this series provided opportunities to educate a wide audience and will focus on gender health equity and lead the conversation on how policy, research and
