Culinary Medicine

What is Culinary Medicine?

In short, Culinary Medicine is delicious fun!  A more formal definition:

Culinary Medicine as a discipline provides learner development through a unique combination of culinary skills/arts and evidence-based nutrition principles while seeking to be relatable, practical, collaborative.  The ultimate goal is to equip the learner with self-efficacy for personal dietary wellness, and by extension, the wellness of those they serve or support.
The program addresses gaps in traditional nutrition education, the impact of our food system and policies on health and food insecurity.
